The BLUE X blue light filter technology from SPECT Eyewear protects you optimally from blue light and improves your perception.
Blue light is present in natural sunlight - so it is not a new phenomenon. But with the increased use of screens, we are exposing ourselves to more artificial sources of blue light. The Red Bull SPECT glasses from the Gamechanger collection with BLUE X technology can protect you from the effects of blue light.
Blue light is also called HEV (High Energy Visible) light. This means "high-energy visible light". In the light spectrum, it is located directly next to UV radiation.
While the effects of UV light are well researched, the effects of HEV light have not yet been completely clarified scientifically. However, blue light is also emitted by artificial light sources such as screens or LED lighting. We are therefore exposed to this light when working in the office with a computer, but also in our leisure time - for example when gaming.
In order to protect you from blue light, SPECT Eyewear, in cooperation with Red Bull athletes, gamers and the German premium lens manufacturer MPO, has developed a gaming glasses collection with blue light filters in different filter strengths and brought the first certified blue light filter glasses in Europe onto the market, which can also be glazed in your prescription.
All eyewear models in this collection are extremely lightweight and, thanks to the thin temples, comfortable to wear even with headsets.
The frame material is made of G850, which is produced from the oil of the castor bean. It is bio-based, sustainable and anti-allergenic as well as free of harmful bisphenol A (BPA). In addition, the frame impresses with its extreme flexibility and resistance due to the material properties.
The blue light lenses reduce the effects of blue light on you and your eyes. The properties of the lenses also enhance contrasts and improve your perception - this improves your performance and you can fully concentrate on your game.
Choose between the two lens types GUARDIAN and WARRIOR - these are equipped with different strengths of blue light filters and can be upgraded with 3 different clip-ons for even better vision.
Blue light eyestrain can cause blurred vision, headaches or dry eyes. This reduces concentration and your performance in front of the screen.
Blue light filter glasses from Red Bull SPECT Eyewear can help you improve your performance and protect your eyes. The super anti-reflective lenses improve reaction time to light changes, bright flashes and graphic effects.
