ONE STEP AHEAD

If you have to describe Szymon Godziek in three words, then definitely with creativity, courage and optimism. These qualities make him an outstanding MTB rider who continuously achieves success and mixes up the MTB freeride and slopestyle scene with daring tricks and combos.

It's not for nothing that Szymon is considered someone who pushes the sport of MTB forward: He was the first to manage a tsunami flip at a competition or to jump over the Canyon Gap with a backflip at the Red Bull Rampage event. In 2017, he flipped - on a road bike! - over the racers at the Tour de Pologne.

CAN'T BE DONE, DOESN'T EXIST

This ambition is in Szymon's blood. He shares his passion as part of the Godziek Duo together with his younger brother and successful BMX and MTB rider Dawid Godziek. The two complement each other perfectly with their different personalities: Dawid approaches things with a lot of thought and plans every jump in advance. Szymon is the one who relies on his gut feeling with his "can-do attitude" and is constantly trying out new tricks.

This self-confidence is also reflected in his successes. Szymon is at the forefront of international MTB events: he made third place at the Red Bull Roof Ride in Poland in 2021, second place at the Nine Knights MTB in Germany in 2018 and third place at Crankworx Les Gets in France in 2017 - and these are just a few examples.

But success is not everything for Szymon, he has made it his goal to make the sport of MTB much more popular and bring it among the masses.
