BRAND USAGE GUIDELINES FOR RETAILERS AND PARTNERS
As a partner of Michael Pachleitner Group GmbH (henceforth MPG) we commissioned you as an authorized retailer for SPECT Eyewear and Red Bull SPECT Eyewear. MPG is the license holder of the brand Red Bull SPECT Eyewear, based on a license contract with Red Bull GmbH. As such we are obliged to strictly adhere to Red Bull‘s Brand Usage Guidelines. The license rights of Red Bull cannot be passed. MPG is the sole license holder and therefore obtains the exclusive right for Brand Usages of Red Bull SPECT Eyewear.
As a retailer you are obliged to adhere to the following brand usages:
1. BUSINESS AUTHORITY
The retailer buys and sells products exclusively in its own name and for its own account. The retailer is obliged to act on its own behalf based on the sales recommendations of MPG. The retailer is not authorized to act on behalf of MPG itself or on behalf of SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear.
2. OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS
If the retailer wishes to use original business documents of SPECT Eyewear (Order forms, price lists, information sheets etc.), he is free to use the relevant design templates provided by MPG. All business documents of SPECT Eyewear and especially Red Bull SPECT Eyewear used by the retailer require the prior written approval of MPG.
2.1 BUSINESS CARDS
The MPG can assist in the design and production of SPECT Eyewear business cards. Self-designed business cards showing the brands logos must be approved by MPG prior to release. 2.2 E-MAIL ADDRESS
The use of an e-mail address with the name or any modifications of the brand name SPECT Eyewear is strictly prohibited without written approval of MPG prior to use. Disregard can result in legal consequences.
3. ONLINE PRESENCE: WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA
The registration and use of online presence, like domain names of websites, social media channels and online stores, in the name or in modifications of the brand name SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear is strictly PROHIBITED. Unauthorized registration can result in blocking of the website.
The official brand website is www.specteyewear.com. Any new online platform MUST be approved by MPG. Any activity without approval can result in severe consequences. Requested for approval amongst others can be the integration of the brand name as follows:
- www.xyzcompany.com/products/specteyewear or www.xyzcompany.com/products/redbullspecteyewear
The final website has integrated a country specific hub that is shown to users whose IP-address is located in the specific area. The MPG supports regional marketing activities, therefore the retailer is welcome to provide its specific content with request of publishing selected content on the official brand website to email@example.com.
3.2 SOCIAL MEDIA
The official Social Media channels are facebook/specteyewear, youtube/specteyewear, pinterest/specteyewear, instagram/specteyewear. The registration of any other social media channels for the brand is strictly PROHIBITED. The retailer is welcome to share content of SPECT Eyewear´s official Social Media channels.
3.3 PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
The MPG supports individual and regional marketing activities of partners and retailers of SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear. Therefore a variety of content can be downloaded from the B2B area of www.specteyewear.com
New designs or alternation of promotional material MUST be approved by MPG prior to release. Design and production must be according to the brands corporate identity to prevent any trademark infringement.
Therefore, please contact the MPG prior to discuss the brand guidelines. We are happy to assist and give guidance. Send the layout for approval to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that approval can take up to 14 days. MPG must have free resources for new projects as well manage the approval with Red Bull GmbH before feedback can be given.
4. MARKETING, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION
The MPG provides product descriptions, information texts, newsletter templates and overall content to communicate SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear. New texts or any alternation of press information/newsletters MUST be approved by MPG prior to release. Wording and content must be according to the brands corporate identity to prevent any trademark infringement. It has to be stated clearly that the sender of this information is never Red Bull itself, but SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear or one of its partners.
All B2C and B2B event activities and presence must be presented to and approved by MPG prior to realization. If you are planning to organize or join an event, please present the concept including trade show booth and promotion material to email@example.com.
The MPG is supportive of such activities but must ensure all event activity fits the brand identity to prevent any trademark infringement.
The MPG offers selected merchandise products for SPECT Eyewear that can be ordered. It is prohibited to produce any other merchandise product or goodies featuring the logos or brand related content. If you have an idea for merchandize that will benefit the brand, please present your concept for discussion to our trade marketing team, PRIOR to any production. It is strictly prohibited to create any merchandise material, goodies or stickers for Red Bull SPECT Eyewear! Disregard can result in serious legal consequences as the rights for the name “Red Bull” in Red Bull SPECT Eyewear remain with Red Bull GmbH and are subject to strict usage restrictions.
International athlete signings for the brand is managed centrally by the MPG in close collaboration with Red Bull GmbH. Partners and retailers are entitled to sponsor or equip athletes in the name of SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear.

8. UTILISATION OF THE LOGO
The SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear logo is our unique and characteristic brand-sign. Therefore, the usage is subject to rigorous rules which must be strictly adhered, to prevent trademark infringement. Prior to every printing / publishing, the usage of the SPECT Eyewear/Red Bull SPECT Eyewear logo must be approved by trade marketing, Isabella Scheucher. 8.1 FORM, COLOUR, FONT
Logo form, font and colours are pre-defined and are not subject to change in any way. Neither form, nor font or colour of the logos can be changed! For more information, please view our detailed corporate design guidelines.
The logos must be placed in a way where clear visibility is guaranteed. Do not place on top of text or busy imagery. When placing the logo on top of a picture, pay attention to put it on a widely empty or very calm space, to grant the best visibility and legibility.
The logo cannot be divided or separated. Single elements cannot be taken out. The logo must be displayed as a whole. Primarily both logos (SPECT Eyewear and Red Bull SPECT Eyewear) shall be communicated together wherever possible. In exceptional cases only the individual logos can be shown. In case of standalone usage, the „Red Bull SPECT Eyewear by SPECT Eyewear” logo variation must be used.
